Goosey Gander

And then they had an audience. Askan and the goose turned at the same time, eyeing the newcomer with a mix of contempt and curiosity. From the greying around her muzzle it was easy to see that she was old, ancient, and not nearly as spry as she used to be. She wasn't exactly limping along, and Askan gave her credit for that, but her movements were quite as fluid as they should be. Like her joints were a little stiff today. Or maybe that's how all old ladies walked, Askan wasn't exactly familiar with old timers. She sorta had a point though, Askan's brows drew together as he returned his glare to the goose. It remained stubbornly where it was, neck outstretched and beady eyes seething with goosey-rage.
Yeah he wanted to kill the goose but how was he gonna go about it? Jump on in and get slapped around by it's wings? Now that he had an audience he was starting to feel...hmm, rather shamefully as though he was getting a bit of performance anxiety.
"I'm gonna!" He insisted, sounding more like a petulant pup than a grown man. "You hungry for goose?"
He figured that at least he should offer and it did make him feel a grim sense of satisfaction knowing that this mean bastard would fill his belly soon. The goose honked again, indignant and with a lightning strike pecked at his paw. Causing Askan to bounce out of the war with a sharp bark of alarm.
