Dempsey chuckled. There was always something a pretty female like her could do for a male like him. He wasn't nearly that forward though, so he decided to say something else instead."There is nothing you can do for me as of now dear. I was just a tad lonesome, and when I saw you decided to come say hello." What a crap load of bullshit. It didn't show on his face of course, but he was grimacing at his own words. Dempsey hated normal company, but if that's what got him to his goal so be it.

He padded forward and waded through the water until it hit the underside of his belly. Though Autumn was in the air, it was still pretty hot out and his thick coat really didn't help things. He dipped his lips into the water and sucked up some of the cool liquid. Perhaps she would join him if he asked, "The water feels fantastic, darling. I would not be opposed to you joining me." Dempsey moved forward so he was now treading water, and rejoiced in the water lapping over his back.
