angry. bitter little creatures. this was how she labeled them, watching them buzz around flowers to pick apart what they needed. a few bees, no more than three carrying out life plans with the wish of being undisturbed. her run in with them had been a quick one. maw aimed at a drooping flower she wished to put out of its misery. she didn’t see it, the buzzing bee until it had become angry. shaking its pointer at her to send her on retreat into the nearby bushes. she didn’t like them, had never liked them.. and would now choose to despise them. who do they think they are, ru? her ears twitched in an odd mix of anger and timidness. all she wanted was the flow, how was she meant to know that it was eating. besides, she was bigger! how dare it spook her into the brush instead of fleeing for its life. a laugh boomed in her head, clearly louder then he might as it muzzled out into snickering. farrah, you ran away from it.. you think it's scared of you? his usual commits would stomp on her fighting spirit. but today she was feeling rebellious, puffing out her chest and tugging back her ears. just wait, ru, i’ll make them apologize! i’ll make them cower! she stomped forward, chest still puffed as she approached the flowers. only to find the lingering bee’s gone. a droop to her ears as the second round of laughter would find itself without censorship. it was fine, completely fine. the bees ran away, they feared her as she wished. but she was still intent on scolding them, her nose twitching in thought. to find them she’d have to decide what they like. flowers? her body moves, lowering her head to bring herself that much closer to the flowers. as if lessening the distance would make them easier to find. ru.. they smell like flowers, don’t they? sure, sure, they smell like flowers and everything else sweet. if you find the hive, can we eat some honey? honey. a sweet and sticky ooze the bitter creatures guarded. she recalled having it once before, while her brothers lounged in the shallow ends of the water to soothe the stings. they were scolded then, mother unhappy with all the wounds to tend for. in the process of making them cower before her, she would take away the honey for ru to enjoy. her head jerked, ear twisting off to the sound of unhappy buzzing. luckily, it wasn’t directed at her. body lowering, wishing to make herself appear small due a being many times smaller than she. she watched them, stared at them as they swooned around a new patch of flowers a short distance away. what did they do? dancing around the tops of flowers. did they chatter? this flower tastes better then this today, that flower tastes best on the third day of the week, never the second or the fourth. as her mind raced with interest her eye settled on the direction they flowed. her ears pricked forward as her nose twitched. following bees through the groves was one thing, she didn't even know if they were going home. or if they were going the opposite of home. the tension in her body shifted, forcing herself to focus on the task at hand. bees. chasing around the ones she saw wasn't guaranteed to be the answer. she had remember, what did the grubby things attach themselves to? where would be the best place for them to hide away and make the thieving of the there honey difficult? as her body moved, she could rely only on her highly pricked ears and the twitched of her nose. her eye sight was less then useful, able to see what was neatly placed in front of her but with focusing too far into the distance.. the buzz would tug at her left ear, jerking her head off in its direction with means to focus. where did it come from? was it just another bee within the flowers or on its way home? she waited, another buzz off the same direction that set her paws in motion. quick paced with goal in mind she moved through the mangrove. where? where? how much longer until you find them?? a snort of his disappointment, having his hopes up that she would fight and be defeated by them. so he could laugh and file away with means to tease her later. the hurried pace she set came to a halt, dropping to her stomach as her ears twitched with the butterflies of anxiousness. found them! nested into the rotting nook of a tree, a perfect place surely. happy within at they buzzed, coming and going for the successful robbery of flowers. aren't you going to make them apologize? her ears drooping, feeling the spunk once within her fading. in fact, all the fussing she had done had wittered away as she became consumed with finding them. her head turned to the side, a pout forming with the means of getting out of it. farrah, sometimes i can't help but to find you cute.
