Valhallan Spring Tournament - Casso vs Jynn

As he walked into the arena he looked at the opponent he had been paired with curiously. She didn't appear to be like any wolf he had ever seen, but he couldn't quite place what she was. At the end of the day he didn't suppose it really mattered as long as she was willing and ready to spar with him. He stopped and left a couple feet of space between them in the middle of the arena. His two-toned gaze shifted to Aurielle for a moment as the Valhallan leader gave them the rules they were to follow for this spar. Having to stay within the arena certainly added an extra layer of difficulty and was something else he would have to keep in mind.

Once Aurielle began to walk away he refocused on Jynn with a small nod before settling down into a defensive, readied stance. He knew that they were supposed to be paired up within similar levels of experience and skill, but other than that he wasn't sure what to expect from this woman. He tried to keep himself ready for anything with his muscles tensed and ready to respond to whatever she threw at him. It would be an interesting one for him since he was most used to sparring with wolves that were the same height as him if not taller because of his brother, but he hoped that his taller height would come to his advantage. When Aurielle declared the beginning of their fight he left the floor open for Jynn to make the first move, making himself ready to move one way or the other to respond.
