Nestled under his wing Hanako beamed at his words, her tail wagging and inadvertently slapping his rump. Her stomach rumbled again, even louder this time as she followed him, their sides touching as they made their way back to the beach. Almost as though they were retracing their steps and following their earlier paw prints. Only once they were back beside the sea, Hanako slipped out from underneath the embrace of his wing and shook out her coat, ending in a cute little butt wiggle for good measure.  The ocean was just as beautiful as she'd left it, glistening blue and sparkling, almost begging her to take the leap and go for a swim. Maybe they could do that after they'd eaten their fishy fill. Either way she wasn't quite done with Mortis just yet, she was greedy like that.

She turned to the Fatalis, her gaze expectant as she eyed his form all judgemental like, as if she knew anything about fishing. But she supposed that this would be a great chance to learn, right? Moving closer her shoulder brushed against his side as she leaned in to see what he was doing. If he was as half as good as he claimed to be she was sure she could learn a lot, and if not then at least they were together. No time with Mortis was ever bad, even if he got all serious.
