The only benefit he could see to the critter would be as a brief, momentary distraction squashed as quickly as he could appear. From above Diablo joined the ribbing, attempting to poke the chattering squirrel in the head with one large bat wing as he flew around it.

His attention was quite easily redirected, his amused smile fading into something more relaxed as Az padded over to the basket she'd laid out. "Oh, what is it?" He questioned, curiosity peaked.
