Well, this was dumb. Just....dumb. Easily the dumbest. Dantalian squinted at the naked end of the stick. This was a terrible idea. Mortals weren't supposed to be very smart but she doubted any would be dumb enough to buy a pointy stick unless she was the best salesperson ever. So what else could she make then? Her dad made all kinds of things, but he'd been so sick he hadn't had time to teach her how to make anything cool. So here she was sharpening a stick.

A boy approached and immediately captured her attention with talk of making armor. Well duh, why hadn't she thought of that? Granted, to make armor you needed to have something armor was made out of and all she had was a stick and some grass - if she picked it.
