Rhythm

It had been seasons since Tyrian had seen Rhythm. He still wasn't pleased with her choice of retirement places, but it wasn't like he could change that. She was her own person. He knew that and respected her enough to let her be. Tyrian had been meaning to visit. It was fair to say he'd been hurt over her decision for awhile and that in part was what had kept him away, but seeing his dad everyday impressed upon him how little time he had left with the elderly wolves who had raised him and he wanted to make the best of it.
Tyrian stopped outside of Abaven land and absently began to wander along the border. He kept his distance from it but remained parallel to it. If he got within sniffing distance he would owe Theory a visit. He wouldn't mind seeing his niece again, but today was not the day for that. Today he wished to see Rhythm.
After awhile he picked a place and seated himself. He had no idea where Rhythm might den and he hoped he'd picked a central enough location that she wouldn't have to travel far. Tyrian remembered very clearly how much her joints pained her. Carefully to imply no urgency - the last thing he wanted was for her to think his father had kicked it - Tyrian howled for his auntie.
