Ready? Fight!

Finishing his stretching he kept his ears open for the sound of an approaching opponent. He didn't have to wait long. A large, strong looking woman answered his call. She carried herself with the experience of a skilled warrior. Oh boy, he had a feeling he was getting in over his head. She spoke and he stared. He was about to open his mouth to explain that, while he was flattered at her comment, he was in fact married. Skælingr didn't have a chance to get a word out as she attacked.

Skælingr's defenses went up but he was unprepared. She slammed into him, causing him to stumble and her fangs to dig into the back of his neck, midway between his head and shoulders. Cursing himself for being caught so off guard he was quick to retaliate. His neck twisted to the left and his fangs flashed forward as he sought to bite into the the front of the woman's left shoulder. He planned to get a strong bite where her shoulder met the side of her body, seeking to wound the tendons there.
