Her opponent shifted almost out of each, her teeth just barely catching his leg as she slipped past him and just leaving a few scratches across his skin. As she moved past him she quickly began to turn so that she could face him again and thanks to that movement she avoided letting him get any kind of grip on her side. His teeth did leave some pretty decent lacerations as his canine teeth scraped her side, but she as at least able to turn her body away from him to keep him from doing any more damage. She spun around so that she was now facing him again and her lower half was facing away from him. As she was turning she tried to land a quick bite on the upper portion of his right thigh before he could turn away from her, almost near his hip, since it was within her reach. She wouldn't be able to make any real kind of hold here, but it was something that she could possibly do from this position with his lower half near her - but of course that wouldn't matter if she wasn't fast enough to land that attack. She wasn't used to practicing being on the offensive so her natural tendency was to be overly defensive. Her quick bites here and there weren't going to do much damage, but at the very least she could maybe keep him from putting more damage on her end.
