a little help

Meadow is working in Indigo’s garden, watering, weeding, giving the plants love on this wonderful day. She moves about the growing plot of land, humming to herself, talking to the flowers. Meadow is in her element. Paws are caked with dirt and she is in the process of removing some weeds when she hears her name. It is a question and she quickly gets up, dusting off the dirt and shaking the dust from coat. Setting aside her watering container, she shrugs on her saddlebag and moves toward the spot where she heard her name being called.

Arriving quickly, she spies a big wolf with an inky black and silver coat. She has never met him but, from his scent and what Resin has told her, she easily places him as Roan, Iolaire’s husband. Eyes sparkle with happiness and she moves to stand before him. “Hello! You must be Roan. Sorry I have not come to call on you, been a little busy helping with this garden.” Offering him a huge, bright smile, Meadow notes the worry that seems to settle on his features. “Is everything alright?” Brows furrow in concern as she watches him.
