Eligos sighed. "No, Fel. I don't want anyone swearing fealty to me." Though he supposed that the idea of fealty to him personally had some merit in general, if only to keep family members from running amok and refusing his leadership of the family... but no. It wasn't his way. He'd never even intended to be a leader - he'd always thought that when they'd all grown up, it would be Pyrrhic or Aureus leading them, never expecting that circumstances would thrust him into the very spotlight he'd spent their childhood avoiding. He studied their sister, so like him though silver where he was gold, and gentled his tone. "It will be good to be together again." Though a heavy reminder that their father would never be returning, and that their mother and sister were unlikely to be alive either.
