Eat the Birds. All the Birds.

The second time that the child ran through the long grass, Resin dove again after a bird. This time her jaws snapped just behind the tail of the fleeing avian. With a growl, she landed and circled back. That round had been a loss, but perhaps the boy would have better luck when it was his turn.

Returning back to their starting place, she looked down upon the child. "No luck that time. It's your turn to try and catch one." She instructed him on where to stand and gave a few pointers before they began. "I'll run through and you'll see them as they leave the grass. You'll hear them first though, so try and imagine where they'll be. Then just jump and bite." Seeing that as enough instruction, Resin moved into position.

After giving Ulfr a nod, the big wolf took off through the long grass. Though they'd just been run from this area before, the birds were fairly stupid and always seemed to return. They took off into the air in a panic once more. Even though it was Ulfr's turn to attack, Resin seized the opportunity to snatch a slow pheasant from the air, worrying it between her teeth until its neck snapped. She then circled back to see if Ulfr had had any luck.
