She didn't exactly try to protect herself against any retaliation. This fight was about getting out their anger and clearing the air. She'd been told that she and Azure should make up, well... this was how she chose to do it. If he was mad at her, hopefully this would help him move past it. It was certainly helping her.

With her teeth latched into him, she practically swung about as he moved. A huge bear paw slammed into the small girl and, much to her surprise, she went flying. Asla rolled across the ground, stopping on her back staring up at the sky. She blinked those big purple eyes, not sure what emotion would be the one to stick. In the end, she laughed. She laughed and laughed until tears filled her eyes. Hopefully he felt as relieved as she felt.

When her laughter ended, the girl rose. She wiped the tears from her eyes with the back of one foreleg before moving forward and launching herself at Azure again. This time with the aim to wrap her arms around his neck in a hug. "Az, I missed you. Please don't be mad at me anymore."
