Bitter News

Naiche had been walking the borders of the pack land. It wasn't a job to patrol the border, at least not yet but if he ever was Naiche wanted to a sense of familiarity with it. One thing the young wolf was good at was using his senses. He didn't get lost easy with the sun, stars, and familiar scents to guide him. He had paused to scent the air, catching on to something new and deciding if he would follow it when Sirius howled out his message. The scent would have to wait for another day.
Naiche picked up a fast ground eating stride as he ran to the warlords call. The message had been a bitter one, something that Naiche felt in his own stomach. Family was missing. He didn't know this wolf, but it didn't matter. The memories of family loss were still sharply embedded in his mind. It could not happen here also. Something in his gut twisted expecting they would learn she was dead. The young wolf knew the only reason he thought that was from his own dread. On that same note his dread was only centered around the pain in his own memories, and had to be forgotten if he wanted to aid as best he could. Logic was good and being emotional was stupid. Naiche would do everything in his power not to let his new pack lose a member.
Naiche wasn't the first to arrive, hopefully he wasn't the last. He stepped up beside the others gathered, giving each one an appraising look. They had a cat as part of their pack? A cat?! That was unexpected, and not a thing to focus on at the moment. Naiche stood with shoulders and head pointed towards Sirius. He didn't comment and only waited for their leader to tell them more.
