I'll Rise Up

As she rolls, having succeeded in shaking Dunkan off, for at least the moment, Meadow tries to use her body’s momentum to roll away from him. She is successful in creating some distance but the energy she has created, runs out before she can use it to roll over one more time and spring up to a standing position. Now she trapped, on her side and she recalls what he told her about being in this position, it is something you don’t want to be stuck in for long.

When Dunkan rushes her and moves to place his paw on her neck, Meadow aims to snap at the paw and leg that comes near her neck. At the same time that she is snapping and snarling at him, she tucks her tail between her legs and curls the back half of her body. She prepares to use her back legs to kick at him, if the need arises.
