Naiche made his way into the battle ring the moment he got the affirmation. The other wolf was offering a choice of who to start? Naiche stretched his chest down low and neck out all the way, rump up in the air. That felt good, loosening up his muscles before he aimed for a victor. "I suggested the spar, so it seems fair you get to start." Naiche had imagined that they would start at the same time, or at least whomever was quickest.
With the stretch done the wheat-furred wolf lowered his head to be even with his neck, tail horizontal to his body and stiff. His eyes watched Dunkan's every movement. Naiche was working on trying to pay attention to minor movements and searching for weaknesses. The young imagined he was still missing details, but he would get better! That rush of blood, the surge of energy he got before the fight began, it was becoming intoxicating. Eyes shining brightly with all his energy, "When you're ready."
