The question posed wasn't one that she expected when she asked if Zee wished to talk. From the question she deduced that the issue was with her own relationship. Whether it would help or not, she would answer. "I killed him." Taking up the skin after Zee had had a pull, the big woman took one herself. "I loved him. He lost his mind. He left children in me by force then killed my three sons with the belief that they were fathered by a demon that was inhabiting him." The memories brought a numbness to her now. Once upon a time, they had roused unbridled rage and fury within her, but with him gone, there was none of that now.
"He tried to kill me as well and he almost succeeded, but I was the victor and Ioliare is safe." She didn't regret killing him. She only regretted that she'd given so much of herself to a madman. The scarred woman was never the same after that.
Again she cast a sidelong glance at Zee. "Thinking about killing Sirius?" It was partially a joke and partially serious. She knew that Sirius was nothing like Iolaire's father. He didn't deserve to die, but maybe he'd done something to at least make him deserving of some sort of retribution.
