Halla continued to work at scrapping the sheath away until at last she had just the sinew. Now to dry it. Halla had brought a few branched sticks with her that she pushed into the dirt so the branched part was up. She then carefully started hanging the sinew to dry. She moved the sticks a bit closer to the fire to help with the drying and maybe keep insects away though it didn't seem there were many creatures interested in the sinew. Most were buzzing around what was left of the deer feet. Yawning she stretched out like a sphinx before resting her head on her front legs. She wasn't quite comfortable enough to drift off to sleep but it wouldn't hurt to just rest awhile.
