Lament Pyre

Her shy smile seemed at odds with the regal Empress, and his paw twitched in a flourish of emotion, from admiration to enticement. When she stood at his behest, he would fully see the differences in their size. He had never felt short before, but he supposed it made sense for an Empress to tower above him. He laughed softly, and kissed her nose.

They reached the den, and her eyes glanced across the meager offering of a home. He felt no shame, he had not expected an Empress to grace his presence. He lived simply, but had everything he needed at his disposal.

Her lips touched his, and he forgot the den entirely. He wrapped his paws about her in a hug, drawing her further into the kiss. When he came up for air he whispered. “I like the sound of this.” his lean muscles put to work as he pushed her suggestively onto the bedding.
