Halla slipped through the tall grass of the prairie. The day was bright and sunny, not a cloud in the sky. It was a warm afternoon and a good time to hunt for she had smelled bison blood a mile back. When she found the herd they were grazing peacefully in a group of about 30. Her eyes scouted through the herd, searching for the one whose blood she smelled. She carefully circled to the east of the herd, trying to get a better view. That's when she spied a young male with serious wound on his left hind leg. The wind shifted, carrying their scent to her and she could clearly smell infection. She turned to look at Wyndelin to get his thoughts. As of now it was just the two of them. Even injured a bull bison was a very dangerous target.
