Ragna looked the spear over to make sure that the extra leaves and branches were shorn off it. It was mostly straight and while not perfect she felt it would work well enough. Unlike an atlatl dart that had to fly through the air a spear was used for thrusting so she wasn't as worried about it being a little off. Picking one end for the front and one for the back she set the stick between her paws and bent her head to chew on the end of the spear. She worked her teeth in carefully to create a notch she could use to add the spearhead.
