It was so good to see her. Rhythm may not have been able to see him but Tyrian lit up when he saw her. As he padded towards her he noted how well she looked. She ran smack into his chest and threw her arms around him and, finding her to be very light, Tyrian was able to throw an arm across her shoulders without compromising his balance. The feeling of frailty wasn't lost on him. It was interesting how differently wolves aged. His father had thinned out over the years, but somehow remained a wiry, upright man. Unless you saw him rise in the morning it would be difficult to correctly assess his age beyond a generic 'old'.
"I've missed you," he admitted in a soft voice. That was the extent of what he was willing to admit on that front. Anything more would have felt a bit emasculating, but in truth Tyrian had missed her terribly. He hadn't realized quite how much until now when his heart had soared at the sight of her. "You look well, auntie. Really good. I take it Abaven's been treating you well? No more fires or raids or any other bullshit, I hope?"
