Elba continued on through the Fern Gully, picking some of all the various herbs as she went. Pretty soon her bags were nearly full and she was honestly shocked by how much she had actually gathered. They'd have to make a whole different shelf in the dens at this rate if they wanted to store it all. Of course, there was a possibility that she could get it home to her mother only to find out half of it was nothing more than weeds and useless plants, but there had to be some valuable stuff here and she could tell what was and wasn't sometimes. Ah well, she was pleased with her finds either way and it had made her trip out here feel worth it. She looked up from her plant gathering with a contented sigh, only for her to realize that she had been wandering closer and closer to another wolf. If her father had known how unobservant she had been he probably wouldn't have been too pleased with her, but luckily he wasn't here to see her blunder. Her blue and green eyes fell on the tri-colored brown, white, and black male and after a moment her memory clicked with recognition. It wasn't like she really knew him all that well, especially since all they had done was fight, but it was still a face she recognized so that made her feel less bad about getting caught unaware. She grinned and trotted over to him, completely oblivious to his quite cold and serious expression. "Hello!" she greeted cheerfully when she got close enough to speak easily without having to yell. "You're the guy I fought at the Battleground, right? What a coincidence running into you here!" |
