Feathered Curiosities

Naiche looked happy to see Tamsyn for the most part, other than the low tail. His eyes looked up again into the tree she’d been looking at. He could hear the birds, smelled the variety of scents latched onto the tree before focusing again on Tamsyn, “Hello, I had wanted to come over for a while but was hesitant to cross the border. I caught your scent and imagined it should be fine.” He also just enjoyed being around her, but he didn’t go so far as to admitting that. As it was if she hadn't wanted his company it could have gotten rather awkward, what if she had been doing something important he shouldn't get caught up in? “Over here for anything,” and the question was cut off when the lemur landed on his back.
He wouldn’t have cared for some primate jumping on his back on a good day, but today Naiche’s head whipped around with anger flaring in his eyes. Pressure on back equaled pressure to tail and when it poked at the tail Naiche snapped his teeth at it. There was no intent to connect to the thing, just a sharp warning for it to back off. Never the most tolerant and to add pain to the mix. Honestly if it hadn’t been Tamsyn’s companion Naiche would of aimed to connect instead.
