Appearance Description: (Fox design 2, but with antlers and cat claws) For the most part, this woman's coloring is fairly neutral and unassuming. Most of her body is covered in a cool toned, medium tan that acts as a background for all of her markings. A lighter cream hue highlights the end of her muzzle, throat, stomach, the back edges of her thighs, and the underside of her tail. There are also light, brindle-like markings that start in the middle of her back and go along her back and haunches, dripping down over her sides. A bit of color comes in the from of a muted turquoise shade that moves in soft, faded curves around her form. Pretty much anywhere that the darker tan and the cream hue meet up on her body are separated by a patch of this unique color and a splash of the same color accents the area around her eyes. Her eyes are a deeper, more rich variation of the same turquoise color that she wears in her fur. She stands quite tall at forty two inches in height, but has a healthy, limber medium build. While her coloring is fairly striking on its own, she does have other features that might be even more unusual to some. Her paws hide a set of sharp, retractable claws, similar to those of a feline. She also has a small set of antlers that back away from her face and will eventually grow to look like a much smaller version of a deer’s antlers - very similar to a young buck. They will appear to be nothing more than small nubs when she is a puppy, barely tall enough to poke out of her fur, but by the time she is an adult they will be fully grown antlers.

Personality: Briar believes that everything has a way and a place and a method for how they should be done. She's quite methodical when it comes to her studies and training and her compulsions come out in smaller ways throughout her days. She never likes for a hair to be out of place, doesn't enjoy being messy, and when she is collecting herbs they will always be organized and stored to perfection. The one and only exception she makes for these things is when she is fighting. As she gets older she will come to understand that fighting is messy and there is no way to avoid that fact. If anyone questions the way she does things, she will indignantly question why they are doing it wrong. Only her way is right in her eyes and she will never apologize for the way she does things. This will be less of a factor in her behavior when she's younger, but as she gets older these traits will come out more and more.

Her rules are her own and there doesn't seem to be much of a rhyme or reason for them other than perhaps a need to preserve herself and her family, but she often will decide on her own what is right and wrong. As a young wolf she tends to push the boundaries that are put on her just to see how much she can get away with. As she finds the breaking point for certain things she makes that the bench mark for what she is allowed to do - not necessarily the rules that originally put in place. If she is told to not leave a certain area she will wander off just to see if she can get away with it. Unless she gets in trouble for it, she will forever hear "stay near here" and think that she can go farther than she is technically allowed. If she does get in trouble for something she will almost always play the victim and give the biggest puppy eyes to get out of it. She's pretty and she knows it and isn't afraid to use her outwardly sweet, adorable demeanor to get her way. She's also not above putting the blame on someone else if it means she can get away with something. As Briar gets older her desire to push boundaries will evolve into setting her own rules and laws. Once she puts a rule in place in her mind there is no wiggle room left for changing it - even if that rule doesn't exactly lead her to act in the nicest way.

While she isn't blindly loyal to anyone, she is incredibly loyal to the individuals she decides to care about. For the most part these trusted few tend to be family - especially her parents. Her family falls into a unique category in her mind where they are trusted until they prove themselves to be untrustworthy. Everyone else she encounters has to earn her loyalty and trust which is something she doesn't give easily. She might act as if she trusts you and behave kindly toward you, but this is almost always because she wants something out of you. She sees strangers more as resources or inconveniences than she does individuals. If they prove themselves to he useful in some way then she might give them the chance to earn a place in her close, trusted circle. If a stranger does make it to that point in her life then she will forever consider that wolf to be hers in some way. She is fiercely protective and even a bit possessive to these select few, but if you aren't in that circle and she doesn't have some sort of pack-driven obligation to care then she could care less what happened to you.

However, if you are someone that she trusts or even loves then you might have the distinct privilege of seeing the softer side of her. When alone with someone that she has placed into her treasured circle of family and close friends she will sometimes let her guard down and even be a bit of a sap. If they dared to ever expose this side of her to anyone else then she would absolutely deny that it ever happened and call them a liar, but she does enjoy quiet evenings with her favorite wolves from time to time. It might not be a trait that you would expect to see from someone like her when you first meet her given the fact that she can be quite distant and greater-than-thou at times, but it just goes to show that you should never judge a book by its cover.

With her heavy emphasis and love of her family, it will become one of her main driving forces in her life. She sharpens her fighting skills to be able to protect them. She learns healing to take care of them when they're injured or sick. Any sort of loss or death will send her entire world into a tailspin and cause her to completely shut down and lash out at those around her. She never means to cause more harm or heartache with this behavior - it's just the only way she knows how to grieve. Eventually when her initial anger at the situation has subsided then she will go to whoever she trusts most to lean on and bear her heart to, but not until that flame has burned itself out. This is a cycle that shows in other parts of her life as well. If she ever gets into a fight with one of her chosen few, she may very well bite your face off in that moment, but once the anger has subsided and revealed the love that was hidden underneath again she will do everything she can to mend that bridge as long as the wolf in question deserves it. She won't often admit out loud when she is in the wrong and she doesn't like to be the one to apologize, but she also won't hold something against someone that wasn't their fault.

Intended plots: As a pup I see her being an adorable trouble maker. She'll want to be the prized child in her parent's eyes, but only because it'll mean that she can get away with more stuff. She'll be very in to learning about healing, but as she gets older she'll begin to show more interest in creating poisons and knowing how the wolf's anatomy works to aid her in her fighting than she will the actual craft of healing. She'll mostly just keep her knowledge of actual healing sharp as a way to make sure those that she likes stay healthy and safe after fights and such. It's gonna take a real special fella to be able to handle her, but I definitely want her to be a top notch mom one day. I definitely see her being the type to put her children above everything else - including her mate - and not being afraid to kick him to the curb in some grand and probably violent way if he ends up not being a good father or something of the sort. She'll definitely be the momma bear type, that is for sure. I also see her really striving for high ranks in the pack, maybe causing some drama to get the position she wants?? I'm not sure how cut throat she'll end up being or if her love of her family will make her a bit more squishy!
