It was a bit funny how Noir felt opposite to Viper's feelings because in fact they were in the same situation, even if she was much older than he was. Viper was hunting for her life and her survival. She went day by day lucky to make it through the night or the week. But she wasn't so composed and mature as Noir. And yes, staying alive for her was getting boring.
