He braced for impact as the man closed the distance, twisting his paw pads slightly into the dirt and making sure to keep his tail out even with his spine to help with balance. Kefka went for his own attack as the two made contact, picking up his front legs in attempt to hug his opponent at the center of his shoulders with a tight grip. The collision course the man had in mind happened almost as he planned, just a little bit lower on Kefka's chest. He also aimed to arch his neck around and grab a bite on the loose skin on top of his right shoulder below the back line. Kati's bite would land just a little below his desired attack, able to grab just where Kefka's shoulder and leg bent as he rose up.
