He paused and she... had nothing to say. She just stared blankly at him. She couldn't form the words. And he would be off back towards the den. She sighed with relief, it wasn't as difficult as she was anticipating. That was, until he veered of at the rim of the lake. "Wait!" She'd trot off after him. He was acting like a young child and it was actually unlike him to be so immature. Or maybe she was being immature, not that she'd admit. "Kefka!" She was more pleading than stern now, "You can't leave! What about your father!?" It was a lie, she didn't know where Kaine was. But if it would hold him at bay at least for a little while longer. She knew Kefka always had that piece missing out of him, but she would never be able to regain it for him. She left Kaine out of his life ever since she abandoned the Abraxas, only when he asked her ear off she gave him a little snip bit about him. But she knew Kaine was a big puzzle piece of his life that he wanted back and wanted to rekindle. |
