naïf -- non-conish.

Hanako wasn't paying attention as intently as she probably should have. For one it probably came across as awfully rude, as though she couldn't care less about what he was saying, but she also didn't notice him inching closer. All casual and carefree like they were old buddies, welcome to share each others personal space. But regardless of the fact they'd met once before he was still a stranger, someone Hanako ought to at least be a little wary of. But she wasn't, unless red flags were being waved in her face she tended not to notice them, too busy being wrapped up in her own naivety. His question, whilst a little nosy, didn't seem to be anything to worry about. Or at least she felt that way at first, before he started to push a little more than was socially acceptable. She side eyed him, her brows smushing together as her tail instinctively waved away his question. She didn't remember him being so forceful before or maybe she'd just been in a more catering mood, she couldn't quite recall.
She could have just played coy and let it slide but try as she might she just couldn't find the energy to do so. Surely a polite rebuff would send him on his way, she'd never had to do it before but...most people could read the room, right?
She laughed, forced, as she took a step away."Nah really it's okay. I appreciate it though."
