His booming voice almost frightened her as he remained silent the whole time she tried to stop him. And his words were not as hurtful as he may intended. Anyone else to tell her that Kaine would want her head on a silver platter she would have put them in the dirt. But coming from Kefka it meant almost nothing. He barely knew his father. But what made her blood boil was the fact that he met with another Abraxas. "You met one of them?" her voice hissed now spiting with venom. She knew letting loose would break him, and now she felt destroyed. "I should have killed you when I stole you. I wouldn't be here then. I could move on with my life. I wouldn't have to deal with a little ungrateful bastard child." Now she was just talking out of her ass. But if he wanted to think he was all big and bad then so be it. Let his ego be bruised. Maybe it would help him, maybe it wouldn't. She didn't care anymore. |
