She didn’t move as he pressed closer, good for him and bad for her. Noir couldn’t help the hint of a grin that played on his dark features before her struck her. He enjoyed the feeling of her surprise, and the struggle beneath his jaws as teeth sunk into flesh and he caught her. He shook his head but her efforts were enough that he didn’t feel his teeth rip her skin. She was fighting back, and that only brought him more excitement.

Like the creature she named herself after she reached around to bite him. The only way to end a viper was to take off its head. He hadn’t quite managed to do that so her teeth found purchase on his neck as she craned around. Noir tried to wrestle her to the ground before shaking his head violently once more.
