He might be in, but she already knew she’d wake up in a panic in the middle of the night and flee, unless he was planning on pinning her down through the night so her struggling would wake him - up until she adjusted to the change. Her sour expression promised words later, but now she had emerged she would dare to look around more openly at those that had gathered.
