Aslatiel shrugged out of her quilled armor and placed it aside, careful not to bend any of the spikes. After shaking out her cream grey and teal coat, the young wolf moved forward and out onto the open plain where they would have more room to move. Basilisks words met her ears and the girl rolled her eyes lightly. "Regardless of your skill, you'll be by my side anyway, will you not?"

"Get ready," she said, settling into the all so familiar battle stance. The girl aligned her spine, tucked her ears, held her tail out straight for balance and dipped her chin slightly. She was nice enough to wait until Bas prepared as well before she made her attack. Claws digging into the ground, Asla sprinted forward. She feigned right, but skirted to the left, aiming to slam her right shoulder into his right shoulder and spin him off balance.
