Hanako took no offence to Siren's accusatory tone and instead pulled back a little to give her some more space. She knew that it could be tough to settle into a new place but there was something about the Klein's tone that marked her as a little strange. Mortis had mentioned that his friend was a little...shy but-well maybe it was just because Hanako didn't have much experience with dealing with shy people. If that was the case then it was about dang time to learn. Leaning back on her haunches the Wraith brushed some dirt off her paw before she responded. She saw no reason to rush things along or corner Siren in the den, if she wanted to slip free then Hanako was giving her ample room to do so.

"Mortis told me. He's my friend!" She chirped, maintaining the the same soft but bubbly energy she carried when her friend was by her side. "I thought...maybe you'd wanna hang out, I saw some flying fish we could watch them together if you want."

But maybe she was pushing too hard to fast, shoving her exceptions at her as if Siren had any interest in playing along.
