She thought heavily on Sirius and his words and accusations towards her young brother. Venom had witness his onslaught towards Hanako, if she couldn’t handle that it was her own fault. The soon to be empress had no sympathy. For the unprovoked attack, that one made her take pause. She wouldn’t chastize him for having a mouth, but going after one of the Armada’s wolves was not in the realm of forgiveness. She had to get the story from both sides.
Sirius said that Chimera’s opinion didn’t need to matter, but there was a foolish part of her that had been holding out hope that she could trust him one day. That his raw power could be harness instead of whittled away. He was already so strong, but there was so much he lacked. A lack of loyalty to herself and the crown being chief among them.
A huff left her lips as she left the palace and made her way to the shrine. It was easily midnight and the soft glow of the waters lit the clearing above it. Venom slithered into position by the glowing water before lifting her head to call for her brother. If he didn’t show up for her at least the decision moving forward would be an easy one.
