By the time Hanako arrived at Lirim's borders the sun was starting to set. Her journey whilst long hadn't been overly difficult, mostly due to the fact she'd chosen to skirt around the desert instead of cutting through. Sure, it would have cut down the travel time quite a bit but the thought of burning her nose again was more than enough to put her off. Her companions, Toshi and Ruri, seemed to share that sentiment as the trio stood side by side, staring up at the willow trees ahead. It was like looking at a mirror image of the willows back home, tall and shadowy, hiding who knows what behind the curtain of leaves. She sniffed the air just to make sure and the scent that flooded her nostrils was just as unfamiliar as she'd expected; muddy with a strong emphasis on flowing water. But more than that she noticed the lack of variety when it came down to individual scents along the border, she pursed her lips as she drew to a stop, her toes inches from the invisible line. If nothing she'd learnt that Lirim was on the smaller side, tiny compared to the Empire at least.

Tipping her head back Hanako let out a soft but polite awoo. She recalled the Aurielle had so graciously given her and rolled her eyes, there would be no paw kissing here, thank you very much. But this time Hanako had decided to bring a present in a show of good faith, a pretty bunch of flowers she was making Toshi carry. Sirius had suggested something from the store but Hanako had concluded it wouldn't have gone down very well, to offer a pack free food was if to say...well, it sort of implied you didn't think they were capable of feeding themselves. The same could be said for furs and pelts. Flowers on the other paw, who didn't like a pretty bouquet of flowers? Especially when delivered by such a pretty face.
