Ah, so the one that he'd attacked had been an Armada wolf. Pity he hadn't known that then. He'd have done his best to kill her. Or enslave her. That would have only been fair. Take one of his, he'd take one of theirs. The stare down continued. He refused to look away. He barely blinked. This was an accusation that he couldn't deny. There was crusted blood on the black side of his neck and the wounds hadn't been tended to. Siren would have done that. "How am I supposed to keep track of every wolf in the land? Make all of the Armada wolves wear bells." A good suggestion. Then he could hear them coming before they woke him up. "If I did attack an Armada wolf, it's your fault." Here it came. All of the pent up frustration. "You gave them my sister." The boy growled now, his pelt bristling. "She was mine. She was not yours to give." He couldn't say that he needed her, but he did. Without Siren, he had nothing. Without Siren, he was just a furious, empty boy. He took a step towards Venom, hackles raised. Would she accept the blame or would she deny it? "Speech" |
