oh what tangled webs we weave
Lachlan!

His thoughts drifted back to the night's events. Jupiter was long forgotten; he hadn't even seen his nephew since the beginning. No, the events on his mind had left a far more lasting impression. Tyrian's thoughts were on Fel. He replayed the events over and over. The feeling of Fel taking him into her mouth; the sand digging into his back as he rose to meet her. To say he was distracted by his thoughts as Lachlan approached was an understatement. His eyes were heavy-lidded and his expression was distant. Tyrian came around quickly, though.
Tyrian tipped his head to the side and looked up at Lachlan with a smirk. "If left to my own devices, you betcha." Early in the night he had been picky about his drinks, but he'd reached the point where taste wasn't the most important aspect of it. Tyrian couldn't quite put a finger on what had changed or when, but his priorities were definitely different in that regard.
He grabbed the neck of the bottle and lofted it into the air but didn't quite hold it out far enough to imply he was offering it to Lachlan. There were strings attached and he didn't want the guy to get the idea this was a freebie. "Grab a seat and I might be persuaded to share." His intentions were innocent enough. He just wanted some company. If the guy had a sense of humor they might get along well enough to share a bottle and laugh at strangers together.
