Jupiter spied Viper out of the corner of his eye while talking to Darya. He switched gears immediately. "Oh shit fuck," he hissed as he hit the ground, probably giving Lovely a fright in the process. He was not in the mood for teaching sex ed and common slang to sheltered cave hobos. Nope, not at this party. Tonight was all about him having fun and inciting bad behavior in others. "Don't move, Darya." He scuttled around behind Darya and then slowly and carefully peeked over her back to scan the area he'd seen Viper. She was looking around for something but didn't appear to have noticed him. Whew. That was close. Jupiter put a relieved paw on his chest and sighed heavily. He was still crouched behind Darya but his stance was somewhat relaxed again.
