She settled in beside him comfortably, the warmth of her was as intoxicating as the brew he added to the tea. He grinned brightly, both feeling the alcohol and the joy of having her close. They fit together smoothly, and Iroh felt comfortable in her presence. She was sweet, and he enjoyed making her smile. He knew her better than most, but she still held a vibrant mystery. Like he would realize the sum of all truths if he just looked deeper into her eyes.
He was honored to pour her some tea, and he didn’t spare tonight’s secret ingredient. He wanted her to feel just as good as he did. Not that he would have been able to feel bad with her snuggled up so close beside him. He grinned as she leaned in to enjoy her beverage, and gave him positive feedback. Again he thanked the stars that his fur was dark so she wouldn’t see the deep blush of his flesh. She made him weak in the knees like no one else had. No one else but Ban. Her thoughts weren’t allowed tonight.
Iroh hadn’t noticed any blemishes, so likely she was doing fine and would tell him as much. Reminding him of the dancing bears she had been after. The young Abraxas couldn’t help the amused smirk that played on his features as he leaned down for another long draught. His striped tail flicked at his hips and aimed to curl around her spotted ones. She giggled and snuggled in closer. Iroh craned his neck over hers as he embraced her in return, a soft smile on his lips. Being close ot her like this was comfortable in way he hadn’t experienced yet. They knew each other, and that brought them comfort in each others presence. He was too drunk to think about the relief at their reunion not being awkward.
She turned the question on him, and the man pondered. He wasn’t about to go on about the exciting events of the night, though she could likely guess. ”Just tea.” He chuckled amusedly as he nuzzled deeper into her soft fur. Iroh wanted to pull her closer. ”And this crazy party. The best thing that’s happened is finding you again.” He grined as he aimed to nibble at her jaw and squeeze her lightly. He wanted to get to know her better, but his drunken body was eager to revisit familiar topics.
