His mother was able to grab hold of the thin skin on is back leg and would instantly throw his body away from her, her grip ripping apart on his leg. He still faced her, not one to admit defeat so easily but the shine in his eye showed a little disappointment in himself.

Agria lunged up at him with her paws landing on his shoulder and if nothing else his labored breath tired him into submission on his side. He pridefully lay there as he awaited her to maim him, blind him as he had attempted to her. Her teeth lashed out around his throat. And he did think to himself that this was it. And if this was the way to go, so be it. But he was released and Agria's paws let go off of his shoulder. His eye opened to gaze at a non-existent wolf no longer ontop of him.

Not too quickly but he wouldn't waste time before rising and seeing her walking off back to the den. What a coward. He wouldn't even take a second before stalking after her, a burning fire through his eyes. She was stupid to turn her back on him, and she was going to regret it now.
