Tamsyn wandered through the throws of the party goers with her new found confidence and a certain looseness in her steps from the copious amounts of spirited drinks she had consumed thus far. She was in that perfect storm of not really feeling like she was too drunk where she could definitely keep drinking, but being drunk enough that any of her concerns and inhibitions she might have had before were long gone. She was lingering near the campfire, letting herself get lost in the crowd for a while, when some loud shouting and movement off to the side near the shore line caught her attention. Curious mint eyes looked out toward the new commotion and her brows lifted in surprise when she spotted a very interesting, brightly marked man with... a shark? She started slipping her way past the other wolves that were gathered around the fire, watching with a bit of disbelief as he laid across the shark that he had seemingly caught out of the ocean. She didn't now how that was physically possible, but she also couldn't deny what she was seeing... unless she was starting to hallucinate things. She honestly didn't know what was in all the drinks she had enjoyed so far. There very well could have been something a little stronger than just alcohol in one of them as far as she knew. With a desire to know if what she was seeing was real or not, she started making her way across the dark beach to see for herself. Right before she reached the star-marked man a movement out of the corner of her eye made her jump, thinking for sure that she was just about to step on a crab that was inches away from pinching her leg. When her gaze darted over to look at the supposed crab she was confused to see that there wasn't anything there at all. The same sort of imagined movement pulled her eyes back over to her other side and she made a quick sideways hop to get away from what turned out to be nothing. She sighed and gave a little shake of her head. What had been in those drinks? She finally found her way over to the shark that was flopped out across the black sands and reached a tentative paw out to poke at its side, realizing it wasn't a figment of her overly active imagination when her paw met the wet, weirdly rough skin of the shark. Tam blinked with surprise and looked up at the man that had caught it with a bemused grin. "How did you manage that?!" |
