Boar-dom

Hattori wasn't left alone for long, a stranger soon arrived on the scene and offered some aid. He turned a little, his gaze cold and critical but he was quick to accept her request with a slight dip of his head. And then like a trickling stream two more wolves appeared and offered a lending paw, he half wondered where they were all coming from and how he hadn't noticed them earlier. But that was neither here nor there, he supposed, since they now had the numbers to get the job done. Deciding that there was no longer a reason to be stealthy since one of the new comers was insufferably clumsy and had already alerted the hog, Hattori waded into the water ahead of the group as he quickly formed a game plan.
As a group they could attack and hound the hog from several different angles, wearing it down till it was too weak to fight off the finishing blow. He paused and turned to look back at the others.
"Attack it from all angles in order to chip away at it's defences. Only go for the killing blow when it's weak. This may take some time."
And with that Hattori rushed in, sending water splashing in all directions as he lunged forth and extended his talons. They ripped into the boars shoulder and it let out a pained squeal as it struggled and thrashed in an attempt to ward him off with its tusks. He side stepped with ease, helped by the pigs limited mobility, and took a moment to observe the damage his talons had inflicted. The gashes were deep and bleeding profusely, tainting the water red as the smell flooded his nose. He imagined the scent and commotion might attract some unwelcome additions but there were enough wolves present that it probably wouldn't be an issue. And if it did come down to that Hattori was willing to defend his kill.
