Well, before he got to far with his bowl he better get the fire going or his wife was going to let him have it. Skælingr took a chunk of flint and set one of his paws over it. Picking up the metal striker in his jaws he eyed the distance for a moment before whipping his head across it. It took a few tries but soon the tinder caught fire, then spread to the kindling and slowly started to heat the logs. There that would do.

Moving back over to the clay he started using his paw pads to shape the clay into a small bowl. First he punched his paw through to make a rough bowl shape before he started working to refine the shape and smooth out the cracks on the top from his initial blow.
