Ohhh yikes. Hanako had witnessed a few squabbles before, having simply sat back and enjoyed the show, but none had been nearly half as dirty as this. She'd expected-well something a little more graceful, she supposed. Like a scene out of an old story where good-aka Azure, her knight in shining armour- triumphs over evil. But as the pair really got into the thick of it she found herself wanting to look away, as her ears flicked back a little as if to shield her senses from their ear splitting snarls. Why did violence have to be so...violent? Okay that was a bit of a dumb question and a bit mistimed too since things were about to get worse. So so much worse. Grabbing a hold of Kekfa's muzzle, Azure held him down and- oh she just couldn't look! She snapped her gaze away, eyeing the falls as though they were the most fascinating, enthralling even, thing she'd ever seen. But even then she heard it, the sounds of splattering blood and a soft, sickening sort of squishy sound and- EW EW EW EW EW EW EW!! She didn't see and she didn't want to either, it was all too much too barbaric and the whole heartwarming romance of Azure leaping to her defence went up in flames. Woosh, gone just like that.
Humming to herself to drown out the noise, it took Hanako a worrying amount of time to realise that it was over. Hesitantly, she turned to look and her deep rooted, right in the bottom of her belly, sense of disgust briefly made way for relief. If nothing else she was happy that Azure had won and looked well enough but- ugh. Men were so gross. She noticed Kefka make his quiet, if not sulky exit and whilst she firmly believed he got what he deserved she found herself delaying the inevitable of rushing to Azure's side.
Slowly she clambered down from her little pedestal and stood before him, her gaze stuck to the smattering of blood on his muzzle and fangs. What was she supposed to say, thanks?
"I- are you alright?" She asked in a sudden rush of breath, having not realised she hadn't exhaled in quite some time. She moved in closer then, brushing gently against his side and leaning against him, doing her best to ignore the stank of blood that clung to his form.
