The hog was a biggun and if they managed to bring it down there would be more than enough to go around. Hattori knew that it wouldn't go down without a fight but he was surprised at how cunning it was, that it seemed to be using mangroves as a makeshift defence. Had the roles been reversed he would have done the same, would have taken advantage of the fact his assailants could only attack from a limited amount of angles. But the one mistake it seemed to keep falling back on was the fact that it was far too focused on protecting it's throat, sure it was important because if either one of them got a good grip then it'd be game over for the hog. But something had to give and that was the level of defence on it's flanks. He noticed that his temporary allies had realised this as well as they were focusing on its forelimbs and shoulders, biting and thrashing away to inflict as much damage as possible.
Hattori leapt back into the fray again, noting that the water was steadily rising and was now up to his shins. He splashed the hog in his hurry, inadvertently stunning it for a second as he dipped around and latched onto the soft flesh just behind it's front right limb. It was a bit of a challenge to fight with so many wolves in such close quarters but despite the fact they were all relative strangers they worked well enough together. At the very least Hattori had no real complaints, for now. Yanking back, Hattori dug his paws into the silty mud and arched his spine as he pulled back, aiming to tear away a considerable amount of skin and flesh in the process.
