Fantasma had really hoped they would be able to run. They weren't sure of this stranger's intentions. They watched her closely, her reactions. It lead their mind to spiral down a path which lead them to want to run. What did she want? Were they trespassing? It didn't seem like it. Her tail curled around their side. They continued to stare down at her. Their bright yellow eyes held no lies: they were thinking. Maybe a little too much to allow her anxiety to take charge of her thoughts.

Her floppy ears perked up just a bit. Was she curious about her appearance? Fantasma did believe that they were an odd sight, considering her heritage.

What this stranger said next had their gears turning. The high ground? What did she mean by that?

Fantasma looked down to the ground, then back at her.

Fantasma had assumed she meant it literally. They smiled at her. Their tail started to sway slightly. Their guard was still up, they were staying in their place. She did find amusement in what she said at least. "Staying." Fantasma replied, their voice soft as they moved themself to sit down. Their tail curled to their side.
