The striped beast appears!

Lynvarr had been working his way back north when he ran right into a massive river. It wound its way through the south and was so wide that Lyn cast aside all thoughts of swimming across it. He was a fair swimmer but he didn't want to risk his life on such a crossing. He figured he'd just work his way around and do a bit of exploration in the process.

Lynvarr followed along the river's edge when an unusual scent caught his attention. What was that? It made his fur stand on end and he debated turning around and heading back when he heard a snarl. Lyn instinctively slung down and that was when he spied a tiger attacking a yearling. Aw, hell! The cat spun around for the yearling and Lynvarr sprinted forward, slamming his chest into the cat's left hind leg as his jaws dove down over the cat's tail, right near the base. The tiger yowled and twisted around, trying to claw him. Lyn shuffled and tried to hold on but the tiger was flexible and he was forced to let go and bolt away as the creatures claws broke the skin of his left side.
