Tamsyn followed the edge of the pool a bit as well, but her attention turned back toward the cave itself again. The further under ground it went the more the light faded away until she really couldn't make out what was further down at all. It made her wonder what actually lived down here - if anything other than some sort of blind lizards and maybe some bats. When Aranea questioned weather this was good enough, Tamsyn wasn't sure if the meant as far as a place to stay or for their exploring, but she made the executive decision that this wouldn't be their sleeping place for the night. Not only was it not comfortable, but being closer to the moonlight outside felt much more appealing to her. "Lets head back toward the entrance. We can pick a spot closer to there that's still inside the cave where we'll be out of the wind." With that she turned back toward the front of the cave and led the way back out. She spotted a small alcove in the wall of the cavern a handful of feet from the main opening. "There! That'll work." After gathering some of the brush and vegetation from outside to give them a bit of a softer surface to sleep on, she settled down to one side and left plenty of space for Aranea to lay near her. She fell asleep quickly, plenty tired from the adventure they had been on so far. |
